iPhone – Now runs windows
Windows as an operating system is the most used in the world. However it gets a lot of bad press from users and is widely ridiculed for being one of the most unreliable operating systems. This iPhone parody taps into this undercurrent of feeling by exposing how an iPhone would work if it operated on Windows. Whilst this might seem unfair on Windows it still makes a very good funny commercial spoof.
IPhone – If you don’t have an iPhone parody
This funny commercial spoof beautifully parodies the well-known “if you don’t have an iPhone” commercials. The original used the tag line as a platform to show off the plethora of features the iPhone has. This parody mocks consumer culture and our unbridled enthusiasm for the latest technology. It also carefully mocks the rich poor divide in modern society.
Funny Ad – Iphone app parody
The original version of this commercial showcased some of the best apps that are available in the world and showed us how the iPhone could literally do everything. This funny commercial parody uses ridiculous and disgusting situations to showcase some “potential” iPhone apps. It subverts how we use technology and the uses people put the iPhone to.
iPhone – Istalkher app parody
This is another great take on the uses an iPhone can be put to. As a funny commercial it is a little disturbing but it is also a very clever take on the potentially harmful uses new technologies can be put to. It parodies the original “iPhone apps” series of adverts which showcased everything you could do with an iPhone. As a parody it may be a little crass but it still makes a great point.
Iphone – iBrain app parody
Yet another great rework of the “iPhone app” series of commercials. This funny commercial is incredibly clever and makes the claim that the iPhone is a great replacement for your brain. At first glance this might seem like mere silliness but it is actually making a very clever point. Our reliance on technology has become huge and in many ways technology is replacing our brains as it allows us to access a whole world of information at the push of a few buttons. This spoof demonstrates this in a funny and thought provoking way.

Our last iPhone funny commercial spoof makes fun of the quality of the operating system. It parodies the sleek finesse of the iPhone commercials by showing that actually the operating system can glitch, be clunky and painstakingly slow. It is a simple premise for a parody as it mocks the speed of the operating system and not a lot else. However it is also cleverly mimicking the actual iPhone advertisements with their sleek, smooth feel.

Now many of us know that “adult” material exists online. This funny commercial spoof parodies the internet iPhone commercials by saying – and what you really want the internet for is pornography. The end touch is icing on the cake but as a serious parody this actually is exposing the way the internet is most commonly used and the ways in which we can be embarrassed thanks to technology.
